Tiger’s Got Teeth

I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day yesterday and that the rest of your weekend is great.

I’m thrilled to have my story “Tiger’s Got Teeth” go live at Joyland Fiction today. The first draft of this story dates back to 2001 and was revised many, many times over the decade. The work started out as magical realism, where the reflections in the mirror revealed a person’s auric colors. Over the course of perhaps twenty rewrites, the story became something altogether different and I hope much, much better.
